If you have…
A diploma or degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Knowledge in using 3D software design (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks,….etc.)
Exposure to or experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Exposure to or experience with machining processes.
Exposure to or experience with CAM software (Mastercam is preferred).
Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Good analytical skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible attitude and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as require
You’ll get to…
Assist with the design of products from early concept through to product manufacturing, including:
– Develop product development plan, architecture, and, requirements
– Create mechanical and assembly drawings used for product fabrication and production
– Develop programs, tooling and fixtures for a 4-Axis Vertical Machining Centre
– Design, fabricate and test prototypes
– Create product parts lists and manufacturing instructions
– Investigate, analyze and document identified product defects
Review customer specifications with the sales team
Interface directly with other departments within the organization as well as vendors and end customers
Assure adherence to appropriate regulatory agencies and industry standards (ISO, OSHA, UL, Military, etc.)
Support OES Quality Programs through creation of technical documentation related to the products
Provide customer support for the products
Perform related duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager
