The members of the Cayuga Lights Project have been working very hard over the last year and half, with Haldimand County, to replace the existing scoreboard at the Cayuga Kinsmen Ball Park.
Due to their fundraising efforts and strive to bring back the ball lights in the memory of Jackie Ecker, they had a small amount of funds remaining. Their Committee decided that a scoreboard would be a wonderful addition to the ball park, to replace the old and broken one left standing.
They researched a few different companies to select the new structure, and made a purchase from a former hometown gal, Dana Plant, who is the sales rep for OES Scoreboards. Dana was thrilled to be able to contribute to a project that would enhance her hometown and it was a pleasure for the Committee to have worked with her over the past year.
The Committee were fortunate enough to be able to use many local businesses to complete this project.
It gives the committee such great pleasure to know that they can brighten the Cayuga Kinsmen Park once more, with so much support from the community they call home.
